Stephanie has over fifteen years’ experience of working in the autism field. She is passionate about ensuring positive outcomes for autistic children, young people and their families. She worked in the autism provision of a large, inclusive mainstream secondary school for over ten years, where she held responsibility for the successful transition of students moving from primary to secondary school.

Stephanie is experienced in helping parents to support their autistic children. She has led training on autism strategies for schools and community groups and in 2017 spoke at the National Autistic Society annual conference. She was a member of the Autism Education Trust’s Expert Reference Group from 2013 to 2017 and consultant author on the Autism Education Trust’s Competency Framework in 2016. Stephanie has a MEd Autism (Children) with Distinction from the University of Birmingham.

Steph offers autism advice and support for parents, carers, schools and other settings which is available as a standard part of our autism assessment service and as a standalone option.
