Hannah Lethbridge

As an experienced Educational Psychologist, Deputy Headteacher and as a mum to two boys, Hannah brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to her work as founder of RocketEd. 

Previously a primary school teacher, Hannah qualified as an Educational Psychologist (EP) in 2001 and worked as an EP in three London boroughs over fourteen years, in various positions of responsibility including Senior Educational Psychologist. She has led on a number of borough wide initiatives in different local authorities, with success. She has worked in and with a range of settings including nurseries, primary, secondary and special schools, post-16 colleges and alternative settings. For three years she took on the role of tutor on the MSc Professional Educational Psychology training course at the Institute of Education, University of London. She is experienced in collaborative and joint work with parents and with other professionals in multi-disciplinary contexts.

In 2015, Hannah moved from local authority EP work to become SENDCo and then Deputy Headteacher in a large, successful and highly inclusive mainstream secondary school with an additionally resourced autism provision. There, she led on developing inclusive whole-school systems and processes to ensure that additional educational needs were met. In her time there, excellence in the school’s SEND provision was noted in two Ofsted inspections. 

Hannah is proud to have founded RocketEd. Her aim is to provide children, young people, families and schools with a service that is rooted in inclusive, ethical practice with the needs of the child always front and centre. Through RocketEd, she offers an approach based upon the unique set of skills, knowledge and experience she has gained during more than two decades working as an EP in the local authority and as a Deputy Headteacher in a large, inclusive mainstream secondary school.

Hannah has a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in Developmental Psychology from Sussex University, and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Brighton University. She qualified as an EP at the Institute of Education, University of London, where she achieved her Masters degree with distinction. She is a Chartered Educational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, and registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (registration no. PYL 15607) with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Hannah offers individual educational psychology assessments and services for schools and education settings. In conjunction with Hannah Abrahams, Hannah also offers autism assessments.
