Dani Richman
Neurodiversity CoachBPhil Autism (Children)
Dani gained a range of experience working with the neurodiverse community before joining RocketEd. She worked in early intervention for seventeen years as one of the facilitators for Barnet Early Autism Model (BEAM) at the same time as working independently with young people and adults with autism and related conditions. As well as being in the RocketEd team, Dani is a consultant for the Ivy Learning Trust which requires her to visit schools across Enfield and Hertfordshire to deliver training to teachers and parents, helping to develop their resourced provisions as well as working directly with children and young people.
Dani’s approach is child and family centered, and she aims to support as many people as possible while maintaining a personal, bespoke approach. She emphasises the need to develop a trusting professional relationship to achieve the best outcomes using only evidence-based interventions. Dani finds that the most important aspect of her work is to support clients to develop their understanding of their needs, their confidence and self-esteem using a range of resources. She is keen to help clients understand what it means to be neurodivergent, how this relates to them and their lives and how to self-advocate to ensure that their needs are met as they move towards independence.
Dani covers an area covering parts of North London and Hertfordshire, including Borehamwood, Elstree, Edgware, Mill Hill, Hendon, Golders Green, Finchley, Woodside Park, Whetstone and Muswell Hill.
